Christiane Thalmann

Christiane Thalmann is a contemporary artist based in Sheffield. She is interested in various aspects of contemporary life. Coming at it from different angles, she employs a wide range of media including photography, video, drawing, writing, sound, animation, altered pre existing material and installation. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including Site Gallery and Bloc Space, Sheffield; Bristol Festival of Photography; Ladyfest, Manchester; South Square Gallery, Bradford; Crescent Art, Scarborough; Microgallery, Windsor; WAMMFest, Maryland, USA; Zeche Scherlebeck, Herten, Germany as well as art and film festivals in Holland, France, Spain and Mexico.
