Mox Mäkelä
Mox Mäkelä (b. 1958) is a Finnish artist, writer and director. She has been exhibiting since 1978. Night Shift, written by Mox Mäkelä was included in the anthology, Best European Fiction 2014. She has shown works at Avant (2015), SOMArts (2013), The Maritime Museum of Finland (2009), Oulu Museum of Art (2007). Mäkelä has also made sound works for Finnish Radio Yle1. Rami Rusinen (b. 1976) is a Finnish actor from Lahti. He is known from movies like Simo times three (2012) and Lovemilla (2015). Rusinen is also director, writer, and producer of indie films and music videos.
An astute, meticulously crafted, and poetic observation of accelerated living, Mox Mäkelä’s film is narrated by Finnish actor, Rami Rusinen. A man is lying down on the floor. Thoughts run through his mind and soon no one knows where his mind is travelling. His consciousness conjures images of old house ghosts, and contemplative hare.
